Amazing italian jazz groove lp from this another lost hero; Augusto Martelli! He has composed some superb italian soundtracks and librarys in the 70's, and this album, his hardest to find is a real dope , he creates a mixture of jazz, groove, scat, easy listening, latin, afro, samba, spoken words... with this special italian touch, the sound is hypnotic, warm and always creative!! Contains a loads of great percussions works and some incredible saxes and flutes solos too!!

This rare lp is an amazing raw and deep soul experience, a really unique and idiosyncratic album, the sound is dirty and it sounds over compressed because the mastering wasn't done quite right, the drums are loud and the lead vocals gives a truly deep atmosphere to this gem!!
The New Sounds group cames from Virginia and released this lp on the legendary Turbo records based in New Jersey, every tracks are their own compositions. The cover is also unsual for a soul lp. One of my favourite crossover soul lp!!!
